Inspiration for Apolina’s AW25 collection lies in traditional English village life, a rural mood inspired by the work of local artists; Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious, and the Great Bardfield artists’ community of the 1930s–70s.
With nature, colour and traditional English farming smocks as a starting point, the collection also brings in an illustrated Swedish folk letters influence, lending a layered scrapbook feel to the rural English references.
