Three key names in our footwear collection - Bobux, Froddo, and Vivobarefoot - have long impressed us with their everyday styles. So when it came to their school shoe designs, we knew they wouldn’t disappoint.

Bobux

Bobux is based in New Zealand, and they’ve been designing children’s shoes since 1991, with a strong focus on natural foot development and premium materials. Their new barefoot range supports natural movement, while durable construction and easy fastenings make them perfect for busy school days.

Best for: Durability and everyday toughness.

Regular Bobux designs have a narrower fit compared to other brands, whereas their barefoot range is suited to wider foot shapes. Each has additional protective, scuff-resistant coatings on the toe and heel areas.

Froddo

Crafted in Croatia from premium, chrome-free leather, Froddo school shoes are designed to support healthy, natural foot movement. With flexible soles, a roomy toe box, and breathable materials, they keep kids comfortable and stand up to the demands of the school year.

Best for: Foot-health and eco-friendly design.

Froddo shoes are designed alongside pediatric and orthopaedic experts. They prioritise eco-friendly materials like chrome-free leather, renewable energy in production, and recyclable packaging.

Vivobarefoot

Vivobarefoot is a British shoe company, founded in 2012 by Asher and Galahad Clark - of the renowned Clarks shoemaking family. Their school shoes offer an ultra-thin, zero-drop sole and a wide toe box that supports natural foot movement. Easy-to-use fastenings and puncture-resistant, multi-terrain soles mean they’re built to keep up with learning, exploring, and growing.

Best for: Natural movement & barefoot feel.

Ideal for kids and carers who value barefoot design, sensory feedback, and minimalist styling.
