Founded in the 1960s on the island of Guernsey - home to world-renowned knitters for centuries - Le Tricoteur continues to honour the region’s coastal heritage. Today, the company remains family-led and proudly employs a talented team of makers who take great pride in producing practical, beautiful knitwear inspired by the timeless originals.

All Le Tricoteur garments are unisex. The Guernseys are reversible and should be worn front to back and then back to front, on rotation.

Available in three different colourways, Aran/Navy Stripe, Red, Undyed (mushroom shade), and Navy, the Le Tricoteur Adults Cropped Guernsey Jumper is ideal for those seeking an alternative fit to the traditional jumper. This off-shoulder Guernsey offers a modern twist on Le Tricoteur’s classic silhouette through refined, updated dimensions. Sitting shorter and wider in the body for those who prefer a less slim fit that doesn't hug the hips, but rather skims them, the shoulders are more slouchy 'off-shoulder' with a more casual feel.

Crafted from 100% worsted wool sourced from the heart of the Pennines (an upland range mainly located in Northern England), the longer, smoothly spun fibres offer superior protection from the elements while retaining shape and providing reliable warmth. This time-honoured manufacturing process produces a garment of enduring quality - made to last a lifetime.

Hand-linked by the artisans of St Pierre du Bois (a parish in Guernsey), the nautical-inspired Le Tricoteur Adults Navy & Cream Striped Rocquaine Guernsey Jumper begins with a navy neckline and continues into classic Aran cream striping.

Positioned alongside the premium traditional version, this hand-linked garment reflects Le Tricoteur’s commitment to craftsmanship. While its neckline is not hand-knitted, the piece remains fully reversible, finished with ribbed shoulder seams and practical side splits. To preserve its shape, we recommend alternating how you wear the jumper - front to back and back to front.

Traditionalists will love this classic navy beanie, inspired by the original trawler hats worn by fishermen. The style came about by happy accident - one week, a few too many Guernsey cuffs were knitted, so the Le Tricoteur team closed up one end and tried it on… creating this signature, one-size-fits-most beanie. They’ve been making them this way ever since!

Each one is crafted from the same high-quality worsted wool used in their Guernseys, which is naturally water-resistant - perfect for a hardworking, weather-ready hat. The hem can be worn single or double, depending on your preferred fit.
