Featuring spring arrivals from Kidwild, LiewoodKonges Sløjd, MarMar Copenhagen and Olli Ella.

How about this sunshine! Spring is making its presence known and we are loving it. Although we are (almost) always up for beach days, picnics and woodland walks no matter the weather, being able to stroll, lie and play when the sun is shining does make everything feel that bit sweeter.

Matching this mood, our spring arrivals have inspired the return of outdoor picnics, adventures and enjoying blue skies overhead. For these days, we've put together a Spring Picnic Edit of some of our favourite new goods, presented in natural fibres and easy care, sustainable materials.

Al Fresco Time

Helping to make eating outdoors easier with reusable, easy to clean and carry crockery, beautiful rattan baskets, natural fibre cloths and multifunctional blankets.

Liewood are known for their ethical lifestyle goods with a modern finish and simple details. Bringing ease and versatility to dining - whether you're at home or out and about - their dining sets, milkshake bottles and cutlery are unbreakable, easy to clean (dishwasher friendly) and with no prints or artwork, have sophisticated appeal.

Helpful for carrying the lunch or dinner of the day to your favourite spot, rattan baskets by Olli Ella have a romantic feel and have become a signature of the Australia based brand. The smaller Rattan Berry Basket is appropriately named for transporting fruity treats (or for your little one to help out carrying essentials!) and the Medium Piki Basket should fit almost everything you'll need - including a blanket or two for when the temperature drops.

Cotton Comforts

Breathable, lightweight and all you could want on a warm day, pure organic cotton and simplistic, practical blends make for easy mix and match combinations, layered to suit the day and stitched to last.

Arriving in a selection of muted pastel shades new childrenswear from MarMar Copenhagen, MP Denmark, KidWild and (new to SMALL-FOLK) Little Cotton Clothes are all made with super soft cotton that will relax further over time. Making for great layering pieces with t-shirts, sweatshirts or knits (depending on the day) dungarees, trousers and sleeveless dresses are go-to's for maximum wear - through spring, summer and we reckon autumn too!

Protecting young skin from the sun, the MP Denmark Sami Cap with Neck Shade is one of our first new warmer weather headwear styles to arrive this year and has a tie under the skin for security - a necessity for windy beach days or generally when little ones are on the move.

Outdoor Play

Whether you're in the garden, at the beach or under the trees, let's get outside! Helping to introduce children to the wonders of gardening and green exploration, Grow by Rizaniño Reyes, Sara Boccaccini Meadows acts as a guide to plants and how to grow them - equipped with the Liewood Francy Gardening Tools (available in two different colour sets) you're sure to have a flourishing garden or window sill in no time! With Easter not too long away now, if you're planning an hunt challenge, the Great Egg Hunt (100 Eggs to Spot) should provide you with inspiration, too!

For independent play, we love the look (and selection) from Raduga Grez who make beautiful, ethically crafted wooden toys from eco friendly materials. Stained in rainbow colours, their wide variety of shapes, puzzles, building blocks and stacking sets offer the opportunity to create new worlds both inside and out.
