Highly coveted during each seasonal release (and very quick to sell out), Apolina designs blend traditional, bohemian folk decoration and vintage designs to create stunning dresses, tops, trousers and accessories that are pretty and practical. Natural fibres such as cotton and linen have been selected for spring and summer to create a light, airy feel for play days, visits to the beach and exploring imaginary worlds at home.
Statement collars, puff sleeves, hand-stitched trims, smocking and stripes all make an appearance this season, enhanced by a rich colour palette of cornflower blue, nut brown, rosewater pink and lavender. With no detail left untouched, we admire Apolina's commitment to creating beautiful childrenswear and their passion for keeping traditional sewing methods of decoration alive.
Each Apolina piece is designed in the UK and ethically made in India following founder Caroline's careful consideration of production and sustainable manufacturing. Having worked in fashion for over ten years before launching her own label, Caroline was inspired by the birth of her two daughters and a desire to create more freely from passion; rather than to meet the fast pace that is common within the women’s fashion industry. Having set out to create collections that carry a strong sense of authentic style without the feeling of passing trends - instead focused on longevity and craft - Caroline continues to delight us each season with every beautiful Apolina collection.
